About Guinness Storehouse
The Guinness Storehouse tells the story of Guinness, from its origins at St James's Gate Brewery to its rise as one of the world's most recognisable beer brands. The building itself is even designed to resemble a giant pint of Guinness. It's seven stories tall, with the atrium shaped like a pint glass that would hold 14.3 million pints.
Each floor offers a different interactive exhibit and they all relate to the brewing process, the history of Guinness, advertising campaigns, and the brand's global reach.
- First Floor: Learn about the ingredients used to make Guinness and how the brewing process works.
- Second Floor: The history of Guinness and how it grew over the centuries.
- Third Floor: The world of Guinness advertising with artefacts from old campaigns.
- Fourth Floor: The Guinness Academy, where visitors can learn how to pour the perfect pint.
- Fifth Floor: Food and drink, including a bar and restaurant.
- Sixth Floor: Reserved for special events and the tasting rooms.
- Seventh Floor: The Gravity Bar, where you can enjoy a drink and panoramic views of Dublin, which is a highlight for many visitors.
Gravity Bar
For many visitors, the Gravity Bar is the highlight of the experience. Located on the top floor, the glass-walled bar offers 360-degree views across Dublin. Most tickets include a complimentary pint of Guinness, Guinness 0.0 or a soft drink, making it a great place to relax after exploring the exhibits.
