About Xel-Há Park

Xel-Há, which means "where the water is born" in Mayan, is a natural aquarium where you can dive into the wonders of the Mexican Caribbean. The park offers a mix of turquoise waters, beautiful landscapes, incredible marine life and wildlife and promotes sustainable tourism.
As you explore the park, you can see a mix of beautiful flowers, wildlife and marinelife including colourful tropical fish, exotic birds and other animals. Xel-Há is a sanctuary for nature enthusiasts but also allows you to have lots of fun at the same time without causing damage! The park’s strong commitment to conservation also ensures that its ecosystems remain intact.
The Xel-Há Activities
- Snorkelling in Paradise: World-class snorkelling! You can enjoy crystal-clear waters that are filled with marine life, allowing you to explore an incredible underwater world with coral reefs, schools of tropical fish, and even stingrays making the occasional appearance! If you haven’t been snorkelling before, this is not a bad place to start, just as long as you know not everywhere else is like it!
- River Floating: Float along Xel-Há’s natural river and drift through the park’s surroundings and enjoy the plants and wildlife along the river.
- Cliff of Courage: Adventurous spirits should also like Xel-Há with The "Cliff of Courage" offers those brave enough the chance to leap into the refreshing waters from various different heights and offers both an adrenaline rush and amazing view of the park.
- Scenic Lighthouse: At 131 feet (40 metres), the Scenic Lighthouse offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. To get down you can enjoy a fun water slide back down to ground level!
- Adventure World for Kids: If you are visiting with kids, you will find a fun dedicated space for them! Adventure World has interactive play areas, water slides, as well as educational exhibits for you to enjoy!
