The observation deck is one of the city's most popular attractions and offers great panoramic views of the surrounding area including Stanley Park, Vancouver Convention Centre, Gastown, the Pacific Ocean and the North Shore Mountains, amongst others things.
It's in the heart of downtown Vancouver in the Harbour Centre building, which is one of the city’s iconic buildings and is 168 metres (553 feet) tall, making it high enough to offer incredible skyline views and provide a 360-degree lookout over Vancouver.
A quick glass elevator ride takes you up to the observation deck in just 40 seconds, where floor-to-ceiling windows open up incredible views in every direction! You will also find informative displays explaining the history, culture, and geography of Vancouver.
The observation deck was opened in 1977 and Neil Armstrong attended the opening ceremony!
