About SUMMIT One Vanderbilt
SUMMIT One Vanderbilt only opened in October 2021 and in its first year welcomed an impressive 1.4m visitors!
The observation deck called 'SUMMIT' is in the One Vanderbilt Skyscraper, which is one of the city's major landmarks, and it offers incredible views of New York City from from 1000 feet above street level with multiple landmarks visible (weather dependent) including the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Central Park and the Hudson River.
SUMMIT is spread over three floors and as well as the observation deck is also home to an immersive art installation which mixes transparency with reflectivity and another installation by artist Yayoi Kusama.
For those brave enough, SUMMIT also offers Levitation, which is an amazing glass ledge that hangs off the building and allows you to see straight down over 1000 feet on to Madison Avenue below! A firm favourite for photo opportunities!
After your fun adrenaline boost, you can then relax in SUMMIT’s lounge or outdoor terrace (Après) and enjoy a beverage and snack (not included in ticket).
