About Singapore Night Safari

Singapore Night Safari is one of the country’s most popular attractions. How many other night time zoos do you know of! With over 1000 nocturnal animals all going about their daily life, but with it being night time and dark, it feels extra special to see them doing it! You can see:

  • Tasmanian Devil & North Island Brown Kiwi, Wallaby, Possums & Sugar Gliders
  • Aardvark’s, Hyaenas, Babirusas, Bongos, Sloth Bear,
  • Elephants, Malayan Tapirs, Lions, Hippopotamus and lots more!

Tram Ride

There is also a fun tram ride that takes you through different geographical regions, such as the Southeast Asian rainforest and the Indian subcontinent. The guided tram ride allows you to see many animals up close while comfortably seated if you don’t fancy walking around. You can see the Asian elephants, lions and deer on the route!

Walking Option

The safari also has paths for you to walk down as well. Some prefer the paths as you can walk at your own pace and spend as much time as you like at the different areas.

  • Tiger Trail: Where you will see some animals that naturally live in the African and Asian savannah!
  • Leopard Trail: See some of Asia's nocturnal creatures including Malayan tigers and Asiatic lions!
  • Pangolin Trail: Enjoy a walk through a jungle-like-setting and see some endangered species including the Sunda Pangolin, Asian small-clawed otters and civets!
  • Tasmanian Devil Trail: A paved walk through an outback inspired set-up where you can spot wallabies, sugar gliders and of course the Tasmanian Devil!
  • Flying Fox Walkthrough: Where you can see flying fox and meercats and more!

The Singapore Night Safari is just good old family fun. No matter your age, if you are in Singapore and you have time to do it, I think it should be on your must-do column of things to do there.
