The iconic Petronas Twin Towers with their observation deck are one of the crown jewels of Kuala Lumpur's skyline. The towers stand proudly with their modern appearance at 452 metres tall (88 floors), and are one of the city's most popular attractions.
The twin skyscrapers are connected by the world’s highest double-decker 'Skybridge'.
The towers also feature interactive exhibits and a chance to experience Malaysia’s culture and innovation and learn why they were so important for the city.
On the 41st and 42nd floors visitors will find the famous Skybridge that connects the two towers, which visitors can walk over. At 170 meters above ground, the bridge offers a unique aerial perspective of the Kuala Lumpur skyline.
Unlike other observation decks, the bridge is not fully attached to the towers, which allows it to slide in and out to counter wind movements.
Visitors will find the Observation Deck on the 88th floor, which offers 360° panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding area through floor-to-ceiling glass walls for unobstructed views.
The observation deck has high-powered telescopes that visitors can use to spot some of the landmarks below including The Kuala Lumpur Tower (KL Tower), The Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Merdeka Square, the vast greenery of KLCC Park and much more.
The towers are also home to the ‘Petronas Art Gallery’ where visitors can enjoy rotating art exhibitions and the ‘Petrosains Discovery Centre’ which is a science and technology museum, perfect for families.
The Suria KLCC is at the base of the towers and is one of the city’s most popular shopping destinations with international brands, fine dining, and cultural experiences also available.
Before or after visiting the towers, we would also suggest visiting KLCC Park, which is a beautifully landscaped green space with a manmade lake and a musical fountain show. The park also has shaded walking paths, picnic areas and relaxing green spaces to sit and watch the world go by.
