About Efteling‍

Efteling opened in 1952 and is one of the oldest and biggest theme parks in the world. The park is inspired by fairy tales, folklore and ancient legends, creating a unique atmosphere for visitors of all ages.

Fairy-Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos)

One of the park's famous attractions. It features a forest filled with scenes from classic fairy tales, such as Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel. Each scene is intricately crafted and brings the stories to life.

Fantasy-Themed Rides

The rides and attractions are inspired by fairy tales and folklore and include roller coasters, dark rides, water rides, train rides and more (something for the whole family to enjoy), including:

• Droomvlucht - A dark ride which takes you on a magical journey through a dreamlike world.
• Max & Moritz - A family-friendly roller coaster ride.
• Python - A classic looping roller coaster featuring double loops and corkscrew turns.
• Anton Pieckplein - Enjoy old-fashioned fun including a carousel.
• Baron 1898 - One of Efteling's most famous roller coasters, featuring a 37.5m dive drop into a haunted mineshaft.
• Symbolica - One of Efteling's most popular dark rides, taking visitors through a magical fantasy palace filled with surprises and special effects.
